Thee Holy Brothers, the Los Angeles-based power duo of Willie Aron and Marvin Etzioni, recently released their debut album “My Name is Sparkle” to glowing reviews worldwide including MOJO “… a Tommy-esque musical as if directed by Leonard Cohen.”

 

In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s birthday, Thee Holy Brothers have released “Lift You Up” (a stand-alone track, not featured on the album). The funk inspired track features Stephon Ferguson as the voice of MLK. The voices collide in celebration at the end of the track proclaiming “I wanna lift you up. Higher!”
