Los Angeles based label Tone and Manor returns with their 1st single of 2019. Flip is a heavy boom bap flavored offering from DJ/Producer Rite Along. Thick drums share the space with a driving horn line, head nodding bass groove, and a melodic hook built around a carefully woven patchwork of catchy vocal chops. A nice companion piece to his debut single Ghost Light, Flip finds ample inspiration from Hip Hop, Funk and Electronica, while gracefully fostering a sound that seems to defy categorization. This track is both hard hitting and cinematic, moving parts and resolve continuously working side by side to paint a memorable picture of sound.
