Artist, Producer & Bassist Martin Glover (Better known as Youth) is doing some incredible, cross cultural releases on his new label Suriya Recordings. This latest release from Elfic Circle is a bounty of gorgeous and diverse sounds, all anchored by the Celtic Harp of Andrea Seki (a Breton master musician who studied with the great Allan Stivell) & featuring beautiful contributions from Fabrice De Graef’s bansuri flute & Catherine Dreau’s Tubalophones & Metallophones. Vocals, tabla & sitar are also all lovingly cradled in a bed of ambient textures provided by Youth. There’s even a bonus CDs worth of excellent Psy Dub remixes by Youth & Cosmic Trigger. All in all, this is a generous & innovative, blissed out Celtic journey that should appeal to World Music, Celtic and Ambient fans alike.
