From Canadian producer and multi-instrumentalist Andrew McPherson comes the second chapter of his ambient music project Peppermoth. Glimmer Tide continues exploring the rich sonic terrain of Peppermoth’s debut, Now You Hear Me, which paid considerable debt to ambient music’s forefathers like Eno, Harold Budd, Daniel Lanois, Ryuichi Sakamoto as well as early 20th century composers Claude Debussy and Erik Satie.
Peppermoth’s diverse palette of live instruments, sonic manipulation and melody-driven composition invites the listener to lean forward and place themselves in the songs as an active participant.
